Dealing With Schizophrenia – Five Activities You Should Avoid From Doing

Many times, if you or your loved one suffers from schizophrenia disorder, there are some activities you should not do or attend in order to keep in a relaxed situation and prevent yourself from going through unwanted stress, which can be a trigger for many unwanted moods and disorders.

1) Funerals
Avoid from attending to funerals. Or just attend the laying down ceremony, and be abstained from the actual burial itself. This act can cause you an unwanted trigger for your disorders later on.

2) Quarrels
Avoid from taking part in unwanted quarrels. Those quarrels can cause undesired emotions and physical reactions that can increase your emotional stress and blood pressure, and therefore can be an unwanted trigger for disorders.

3) Stressful activities
You should monitor which activities are causing you to unwanted stresses, and then avoid them or minimize them to a minimum as much as you can. Such activities can be – meeting friends from the past, too complicated tasks, staying with your family and so on.

4) Remain awake at nights
Don’t let yourself remain awake at nights and try to go to sleep even if you don’t feel like at first. If you can’t sleep anyway, try to complete your missing sleeping hours during the next day. A continuous lack of sleep can be a very dangerous trigger.

5) Forbidden activities
Don’t break the law, don’t use forbidden substances such as drugs, don’t heavily drink alcohol, don’t smoke too much cigarettes, avoid pornography. All of those activities and more can cause you unwanted stresses and can trigger your disorder to erupt.
