Whom we call – healthy people, people who don’t suffer from schizophrenia are usually taking the position of a moral police man and saying that it would be better if schizophrenia’s sufferers won’t have kids of their own. So as a contra to what they are saying, here are 5 reasons why schizophrenia sufferers should have kids of their own:

1) Better education
It is well proven that people with schizophrenia give their children a better education in average, than people with out it. They get better manners, they are more sensible for their environments and they become better citizens to their country.

2) More sensitive
Children to parents with schizophrenia, become more sensitive to their environment and to their surrounding people. They tend to be more mature compare to other normal kids. The reason is that they sometimes have difficult times with their suffering parents, and therefore they understand that life can be difficult sometimes.

3) Ready for life
Children to parents with schizophrenia, become more ready to life than other normal children. As they went through one or two crisis in life, they become more resistant to life difficulties than other children. They are more mature than other in a way that helps them better deal with life challenges than others.

4) Less violent
It has been proven that children to schizophrenia suffering parents become to be less violent grownups than other children. They are being raised in a calmer environment with less violence, what makes them in the long run better people with no violent tendencies.

5) Healthier
As a contradiction to the stigmatized point of view of other people, children of schizophrenia suffering parents, less tend to develop illnesses. But even if their chances to develop mental illnesses are higher, because of the other reasons that were mentioned before, we can predict that they would deal with their illness even better than their parents and therefore recover in a better and a healthier matter than other sufferers.

Don’t let other people tell you what to do in the matter of having children or not. We prefer that people with schizophrenia would fulfill their basic instinct and human right of having children than becoming resembling to the darkest regimes that were and are controlling in some regions of the world through the history of man kind.

The holiday’s season is coming, and people should know that schizophrenia sufferers need special attention. Not because they are too weak due to they’re illness, but because they have delicate soul and went through a lot in they’re lives. Here are five tips in order to pass the holiday’s season in a successful matter:

1) Leave behind past quarrels
When you seat around the holiday feast table, try to leave behind past quarrels with your loved ones. Don’t bring to the table past experiences and try to be positive in order to avoid igniting them again.

2) Don’t argue around the table
If one of your loved ones asks a question and crosses a red line, don’t get in to quarrel with him. You can always avoid answering him with a wiser answer such as “We would talk about it tomorrow”, and naturally he would forget his nosy question by the next day.

3) Spend with your folks the minimum time needed
I know that the holidays are a good time to get together, but in order to avoid unneeded quarrels with your loved ones, try to spend with them the minimum time that is needed, the lesser the better. If you won’t do that, the nosy questions accompanied by an inevitable quarrel, would follow.

4) Be assertive
The way you answer your relatives interrogation, is the way you would leave your expression on them. Try to answer they’re questions with assertive way, not argue and leave a good impression on them. Let them understand that the fact you are a schizophrenia sufferer, don’t give them a reason to offend your feelings. You are a grown and mature guy or a woman, and you should be treated respectively.

5) Keep your manners
Try to leave a good impression on your relatives; after all you are not going to see most of them until the next feast that would be carried out in the next holidays. Avoid tension and tenseness situations as much as you can.

Remember, the holidays would pass and life would go on, as well as the healing routine.

When people ask me what is the most important aspect in your recovery, I tend to tell them that it is my relationships with my soul mate – my wife. For she is the one that support my way, most of my recent years as a sufferer.

Unfortunately, most of the sufferers I know are single. The reasons for that are not always similar, but the fact is that most of the consumers find themselves alone without someone to share they’re life with.

From my point of view, the most crucial aspect of getting well when having a mental disorder is to find your mate. A boy or a girl friend helps you confront with your mental illness problems. She supports you and plays a row of someone that shares your deepest feelings through your coping.

Getting a soul mate shouldn’t be too difficult. Today there are ways to get to know new mates by countless ways such as matching sites on the internet, consumers clubs and parties, through mutual friends and so on.

Finding your soul mate is a crucial duty if you want to get well with your illness. She has to be comfortable, sharing, the one person you can really trust and depend on with your most intimate thoughts. She has to be your friend, and you should support each other in difficult times as in normal times.

If you get to the conclusion that your relationships with your soul mate are not healthy for your mental health, may be you should get to the conclusion that they are not for you and you should go on and find someone else to fulfill this job. Above all, don’t get despair for not finding the one.

There is an ancient say – There is a cap for every pot. So don’t fall into despair and keep trying to find your soul mate.

Falling in love is the most basic characteristic of humane being. With out getting in love, there won’t be a continuation to our generation. People who get in love are realizing they’re own existence.

So if this subject is so basic to our existence, why is it so difficult to get into relationships between a person who suffer from schizophrenia and another “Normal” person?

The answer is not so simple. One should continue to invest into his relationship in order to make them work. People with out basic motivation that are suffering from the schizophrenia negative symptoms, are not getting into relationships the same as other normal people.

Therefore, when getting involved with a person who suffer from schizophrenia, both sides should know that it is not going to be such an easy task. Both sides should know that they have to invest plenty of efforts in order to make it succeed.

It won’t be easy, but the advantages of this kind of relationship are far more affirmative than any other “Normal” relations.

I believe that the mutual fruits of this kind of relations can help both sides subdue any kind of life’s threats. With a minimum of efforts from both sides, the couple can benefit from they’re relations and make them work against all odds.

Every human being has to right to realize they’re basic privilege to establish a family and have kids.
Do you have some advice for relationships between a sufferer and a “Normal” person?

The relationship is headed for failure if: only one of the partners endures the entire burden; if the couple does not support and help one another; if there are many difficult disagreements between the couple; if, even prior to the psychotic disorder, the relationship was unsuccessful; and if the healthy partner is unwilling to invest and/or live with a person who up until now has been healthy and has suddenly been diagnosed with a mental disease.

The relationship will not work if the partner does not have the strength and energy to invest in this type of relationship or alternatively is not prepared to bring children into the world with a mentally ill partner. Often, unfortunately, relationships end as a result of psychotic disorders.

It is important not to fall apart, but rather to continue moving forward and to find a partner who will accept us as we are, providing us with support, equanimity, mutual help and most importantly – love.
Can you share with me yor personal experience in dealing with your schizophrenia in your relationship?,
